Inspired by the charism (spiritual gifts) of St. Francis and St. Clare, the mission of St. Francis Springs Prayer Center is to nurture and nourish the contemplative dimension of our life which leads us to experience God’s love and inspires us to promote justice and peace. We seek to offer a comfortable, peaceful environment where all can experience the beauty of nature, the sanctity of silence, and the joy of Franciscan hospitality.

St. Francis Springs serves more than 120 groups a year annually. Groups range from 4 to 70 people. We have 33 rooms with 70 beds and private baths.

St. Francis Springs Hosted Events & Retreats
Each year, St. Francis Springs hosts over a dozen contemplative and justice-related retreats ranging from silent retreats to marriage retreats, a Black History Celebration, Juneteenth, and World Peace Day. We hope you will join us this year.

COLUMBARIUM
St. Francis Springs completed a columbarium on its property in November 2023. We have 720 niches available for purchase. We hope you will consider being with us forever.

LABYRINTH BRICKS
St. Francis Springs features a beautiful labyrinth modeled after Chartres Cathedral in France. The perimeter of the labyrinth in lined with bricks that can be purchased in honor or memory of loved ones.

Yes. We can only guarantee that your room will be ready at 3 pm, but you can use the grounds and facilities until your room is ready. Dinner will be your first meal.

Check out is at 10 a.m. for the Main Lodge and noon for hermitages and cottages.

Breakfast is at 8 a.m., lunch is at 12:30 p.m. , dinner is at 6 p.m., and Sunday brunch is at 10 a.m. on Sunday (in place of breakfast and lunch).
